Summary Rana Sanaullah said PAT had requested security by writing to DCO Lahore
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Punjab government on Saturday announced it will provide security to Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Tahirul Qadri upon return to the country, Dunya News reported.
According to details, Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said that Qadri was provided with 6 vehicles of elite force upon return to the country in the past as well, adding that he will be provided ‘adequate’ security this time as well.
Sanaullah said that peaceful protest and politics is Qadri’s right, adding that PAT president Raheeq Abbasi had demanded security after writing to District Coordination Officer (DCO) Lahore.
