ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Former Prime Minister (PM) Yousuf Raza Gillani has submitted the necklace given by Turkish President to National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA). NADRA’s Director Logistics Major (R) Amir received the necklace. Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has said that investigations will not stop at the recovery of necklace, reported Dunya News on Friday.

Former PM’s representative went to storehouse to deposit the necklace but the officials declined to take the article and said that the necklace should be deposited to PM House or Foreign Office.

When Aitzaz Niazi took the necklace to Foreign Office, he was also refused there as well.

According to Foreign Office officials, they had not received instructions to receive the necklace. Aitzaz Niazi said that if NADRA will also refuse then consultations would be made to solve the issue.

After much effort, Director Logistics NADRA accepted the necklace. He also showed the necklace in front of media.

On the other hand, FIA officials have said that investigations have not ended with the recovery of the necklace. It will also investigate whether NADRA had the right to buy the necklace, it is learnt.

The question as to how the price of necklace was determined and whether NADRA had the right to do so are also a matter of investigation, said the sources.
