LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Petition seeking action against former President Asif Ali Zardari has on Friday been filed in Lahore High Court (LHC) by Ilyas Gujjar of All Pakistan Muslim League (APML). The petition maintains that the former President tried undermining the national interest of the country by giving statements against Pakistan army, reported Dunya News.
The petition states that nobody can be allowed to make such statements against the institutions of national security. The petitioner requested the court to allow opening a treason case against Asif Ali Zardari under Article 6.
