Summary Fire engulfed a house at Raza Plaza in Scheme III area of Rawalpindi.
RAWALPINDI (Web Desk) – Seven family members were killed when fire erupted in a house in Scheme III area of Rawalpindi on Wednesday morning, Dunya News reported.
The incident occurred within limits of Airport police station.
According to rescue officials, fire caused by short-circuit suddenly engulfed the whole house at Raza Plaza, killing Shaukat, his wife Ayesha and five children including 12-year-old Hassan, 10-year-old Mohsin, 8-year-old Umar, 6-year-old Usman and 4-year-old Fatima.
Firefighters forced their way into the house to battle the blaze and brought it under control within few hours.

The bodies were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital.
According to police, the incident will be investigated to find out what caused the fire.
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif expressed grief over the tragic incident and summoned a report from the local administration.
