Summary Three death row prisoners were hanged in various jails of Punjab on Wednesday morning.
LAHORE/FAISALABAD (Dunya News) – Three more death row convicts have been sent to the gallows in different jails of Punjab on early Wednesday morning, Dunya News reported.
According to details, death row convicts Ghulam Musa and Aftab Masih had killed a woman and her two sons Amir and Atir in 1992 during a robbery attempt. Prisoner Aftab Masih was hanged in Kot Lakhpat Jail Lahore while the execution of Ghulam Masih was postponed after an agreement between the parties.
Another death row prisoner, Muhammad Tariq was hanged at the Kot Lakhpat Jail Lahore. Tariq had killed a man in 1995.
Death row convict was hanged in Central Jail Faisalabad. Prisoner Hashmat had killed six people in 2000 in Nankana Sahib.
