KARACHI (Dunya News) – Restriction on women to wear helmets while riding a bike has been lifted on the first day, reported Dunya News on Tuesday.
According to Inspector General (IG) Sindh police, the decision to lift the restriction is to facilitate the masses.
This restriction lift also applies on males sitting at the back of the motorcycle.
The decision comes as a nuance for people across the city who claim that such a decision should not have been passed in the first place. People’s time and resources have been wasted, claim the citizens.
It is pertinent to mention here that the decision to enforce restriction of wearing helmets came into force last night. Motorcycle riding citizens rushed to shops to buy head ware worth thousands of rupees to comply with the order.
