Summary 50 million, 58 lac rupees were issued for ghost hospital in Khairpur in budget 2014-15
KHAIRPUR (Dunya News) – A ‘ghost’ hospital was exposed in district Khairpur of Sindh on Monday after the cases of ‘ghost’ schools in Sindh. The news of ‘ghost’ hospital shows how the government has failed to control corruption in government’s departments.
Health department’s budget book of fiscal years 2014-15 and 2015-16 shows that according to the schemes, 50 million, 58 lac rupees were issued for a hospital in Khairpur in current fiscal year while the budget for the hospital is increased in 2015-16 fiscal year, making it 60 million and 34 lac rupees. Even the doctors and machinery is mentioned in the record. According to health department officials, there is only a civil hospital in Khairpur.
