PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Provincial Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Farman Shah said on Monday that government of KP was inexperienced to hold the elections as this was the first election under a democratic government, he was talking to media in Chief Minister (CM) House Peshawar. Farman Shah said that previous local bodies election in KP were held under dictatorship so there was a big difference this time.

Despite accepting his government’s being inexperienced, Farman Shah blamed Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) for the irregularities. He said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is the victim of rigging and federal government should be the one to resign after that KP government will not refuse to resign.

Farman Shah said that they have called All Parties Conference (ACP) on June 9. He said that if all other parties ask to hold re-election then KP government is ready. He said that they will accept all decisions of ACP including opening any constituency. Farman Shah said that if a party does not participate in the ACP it means they are contented with the results of election.

Talking about the shutter down strike, he said that protest is the right of all political parties but the protests should be peaceful.
