ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Special committee formed to provide to relief to Rohingya Muslims have prepared their recommendations which are likely to be presented during the budget meeting today (Monday), Dunya News reported.
According to details, Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif will approve the recommendations in today’s meeting.
The committee was formed on the directions of PM Nawaz and has prepared recommendations to voice them on international level.
Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar while interfering in Friday’s budget meeting drew the attention of cabinet members towards the ongoing violence on Rohingya Muslims.
He said that this matter needs to be reviewed before budget as it is of particular importance.
Chaudhry Nisar also stated that the Islamic world eyes Pakistan on this significant subject therefore; Pakistan should act as a vanguard on this matter.
Prime Minister expressed concern over the issue and formed a three-member committee in the leadership of Interior Minister including Special Advisors to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz and Tariq Fatemi.
Moreover, PM Nawaz or Chaudhry Nisar will probably aware the media about the recommendations either directly or through National Assembly’s address.
