KARACHI (Dunya News) - The city administration has issued new directives to the residents of Karachi terming the helmet-wearing compulsory for the bike rider and his companion including women, Dunya News reported on Sunday.

As per details, this new safety law would be implemented across Karachi from June 8 and the violators would have to pay fine of Rs 150.

On the other hand, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Traffic Ameer Sheikh stated that nearly 60 percent accidents in the metropolis involve bike-riders.
