ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif has taken the notice of the brutal violence against Burma Muslims and formed a relief committee that will hold a meeting today (Sunday) in Islamabad, Dunya News reported.
Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan told that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has formed a committee for providing relief to the Rohingya Muslims. He also asked the United Nations (UN) and Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC) not to close their eyes at the miseries being inflicted upon the Rohingya Muslims.
Chaudhry Nisar said that the silence of the international organizations including the UN has raised several questions. He told that the Prime Minister expressed concern over the issue during the recent meeting of the cabinet.
Interior Minister said that the meetings of the committee will be held in Islamabad to examine the situation in Myanmar. The meeting will be attended by Special Advisors to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs, Sartaj Aziz and Tariq Fatemi, and members of the committee.
