Summary ID cards were not verified because their numbers of human error: Deputy Director NADRA
LAHORE (Dunya News) – NADRA submitted the report in the Election Tribunal (ET) in the case of rigging in NA-122 Lahore on Saturday. According to the report, 96.7% votes out of 6123 unverified ID cards proved to be original.
Deputy Director NADRA said in his report that 6123 ID cards could not be verified because their numbers were not written correctly and that is purely a human error. He said that, on comparing the ID cards with voter lists they were found to be original. According to the report, only 204 votes can be called fake.
The interim Chairman NADRA told the election tribunal that Chairman NADRA is out of country so the hearing should be adjourned till he comes back. Court called the hearing off till 13th of June.
