PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Election Commission (EC) while accepting written apology of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s (KPK’s) suspended returning officers has dismissed the case against them, Dunya News reported on Friday.
According to details, the officers were suspended for negligence in local bodies elections.
A bench headed by chief election commissioner Sardar Raza Khan conducted the hearing in which the three RO’s appeared.
The apology letters were presented before the court in which it was assured by the RO’s that they will not indulge in any sort of negligence in the future.
Election commissioner stated that their negligence can cost their job and dismissed the case against them.
