RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - Accountability court in Rawalpindi on Thursday has exempted former president and leader of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari from appearing in court in assets reference, Dunya News reported.

According to details, the former president appeared in the court amid tight security and pleaded to exempt him as he won’t be able to come to court on regular basis due to security reasons.

After hearing the arguments of the accused, the court granted him exemption from appearing in court in assets reference case and adjourned the hearing till June 2.
