Summary Relief cheques were distributed among Joseph Colony victims by Hamza Shahbaz Sharif

LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hamza Shahbaz Sharif has on Friday said that the government will not rest without restoring peace in Karachi. He was addressing the ceremony of cheques distribution among the Joseph Colony incident victims, reported Dunya News.

Addressing the event, Hamza Shahbaz said that Karachi’s peace was about to be restored but the terrorists again struck but that won’t deter the government from the operation against the criminal elements in Karachi. He said that enemies didn’t want to see Pakistan prosper. “Whenever Pakistan starts walking the path of development, enemies try to sabotage the positive environment in the country with incidents like Safora tragedy”, he said.

Hamza Shahbaz said that the government will do whatever it takes to safeguard the minorities’ rights and foil the conspiracies against the country. “Together, we have to fight the enemies trying to weaken Pakistan”, he added.

Cheques worth Rs. 500,000 each were distributed among 155 families on this occasion. Those receiving the cheques thanked the government, saying that they were grateful of the government that did not only rebuilt their houses but also provided them with monetary aid.
