ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Inspector General (IG) Islamabad police Tahir Alam said on Tuesday that the terrorists involved in firing in F-8 session court Islamabad are in custody of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) police, he was addressing a press conference in Islamabad.

Tahir Alam said that the terrorists were also wanted by KP police in many cases and right now they are being investigated in those cases. He said that after their investigation completes in KP, they will be shifted to Islamabad. IG said that the terrorists were also involved in kidnapping of 3-year-old Shehryar and many other acts of robbery, snatching and other street crimes.

Tahir Alam told the media that the police have recovered illegal arms, big amounts of ransom money and other stolen goods from the gang’s hideout. He said that the crime rate in Islamabad has significantly decreased with the efforts of Islamabad police. He said that they are surveying the complete background of foreigners residing in Islamabad.
