Summary Will fight the mutual threats together, says Afghan president Ashraf Ghani in meeting with Nawaz
KABUL: (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has on Tuesday said that Pakistan and Afghanistan will work together to eliminate terrorism from the region. Afghan president Hamid Karzai said on this occasion that both the countries will fight their common threats together, reported Dunya News.
Holding a press conference together, Afghan president said that both the countries will have to cooperate for peace. He said that Pakistan and Afghanistan had common enemies.
Speaking on this occasion, PM Nawaz Sharif said that he was sure that the two countries will eradicate terrorism from the region. The elements threatening Afghanistan will have to be fought together, he said. “We shall eliminate terrorists’ hideouts no matter where they are”, he added.
Moreover, Nawaz said that peace would not be possible in the region without elimination of terrorism. He said that Pakistanis had a special place for Afghans in their hearts. “Peaceful and stable Afghanistan is in Pakistan’s favor”, he said. He said that Pakistan will work together with Afghanistan for the prosperity and development of the people living in the two countries.
