Summary Inflation rate for April had remained at 2 percent, said FM Dar
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Finance Minister (FM) Ishaq Dar said on Monday that International Monetary Fund (IMF) admitted to an increase in economic growth in the country. He said that this growth would continue for the duration of next 3 years, reported Dunya News.
Talking to a press conference, FM Dar said that Pakistan had achieved economic progress despite energy crisis.
He declared the meeting with IMF officials a success adding that IMF had admitted to growth in economy.
FM Dar said that new targets will be achieved by fiscal regularity and reform program.
He said that inflation rate for April had remained at 2 percent.
Commenting on the fiscal debt, FM Dar said that the debt would be cut down to 1 percent in the coming year.
