LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday has ordered Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif to appear before the court on May 14 in case regarding payment of property.
The Institute of Islamic Culture had filed a plea against the CM in 2009. The petition states that Shahbaz did not pay for the land given to the Nazria Pakistan. Additional Secretary Revenu told the court that the land was given by Board of Revenue member Ikhlaq Tarar.
However, the court was not convinced by the arguments and summoned CM Shahbaz and Tarar on May 14.
