Court directs customs officers to submit challan in Ayyan Ali case today

Summary Court has adjourned the hearing for one hour.

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Banking court of Rawalpindi on Friday raged over the negligence of custom officials in submitting final challan in Ayyan Ali money laundering case and directed them to submit it in one hour, Dunya News reported.

As per details, Justice Sabir Sultan heard the case during which supermodel Ayyan Ali presented before the court. The accuser’s lawyer Sardar Ishaq told the court that custom officials have still not prepared final challan and urged the court to release Ayyan Ali on interim bail.

Subsequetly, the court has adjourned the hearing for one hour.

Ayyan Ali was arrested by customs officials on March 14 from Benazir Bhutto International Airport Islamabad after $508,000 were recovered from her possession.
