Summary Justice Faisal Arab demanded details of the case from Member Inspection Committee 2
KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Chief Justice Sindh High Court Faisal Arab has on Tuesday demanded details of the Saulat Mirza case from Member Inspection Committee 2, reported Dunya News.
According to details, Justice Faisal Arab directed Member Inspection Team 2 Abdullah Channa to inform the court with all the details of the case of Saulat Mirza, currently waiting for his execution in Machh Jail. Faisal Arab demanded details about how many cases were being heard against Saulat Mirza and at what position they all were.
Chief Justice also asked for advice whether execution could be stopped till the completion of the cases still being heard.
In his plea, Saulat Mirza had maintained that he should be probed again, keeping in view his statement that he made before the Joint Investigation Team (JIT), and that his execution be halted till completion of the investigation.
