RAWALPINDI: (Dunya News) – Former President Asif Ali Zardari is going to appear before the accountability court in assets reference on Tuesday, reported Dunya News.
Rawalpindi Accountability Court had directed Asif Zardari to appear before the court. However, Zardari’s lawyer Farooq H Naik had told the court that his client was unable to follow the orders, upon which the court had postponed the hearing of the case till May 5 and upheld its previous order.
Farooq Naik assured the court that Co-Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Asif Zardari will appear before the court on May 5.
It is pertinent to mention here that the reference against Asif Ali Zardari had been filed 15 years ago.
