BADIN (Dunya News) – Former Sindh home minister and estranged Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Zulfiqar Mirza on Monday signaled to surrender to police only if his legal advisors and family members allow him.
Zulfiqar Mirza and his aides were booked under various sections of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) and the Anti-Terrorism Act (ATA) on charges of harassing Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Abdul Qadir Samoon at Badin Model Police Station and forcibly shutting down markets in the district. Mirza was infuriated by the arrest of his aide Nadeem Mughal .
Talking to Dunya News, Mirza said that he is ready to appear before SSP Hyderabad Irfan Baloch.
SSP Irfan Baloch is an honest person and I am proud of him, he added.
On the other hand, shutter down strike is being observed in Badin, Golarchi, Tando Bago and Talhar in protest against registration of case against Mirza.
