SADIQABAD (Dunya News) – The seven police officers kidnapped in Sadiqabad have still not been recovered after passing of 24 hours. As many as 2000 personnel including commandos are now conducting an aerial operation and shelling at abductors’ hideouts, Dunya News reported.

According to details, seven police personnel have not been recovered even after passing of twenty four hours since the kidnapping.

The aerial operation for the retrieval of the kidnapped officers is underway which has destroyed as many as five hideouts of the kidnappers.

As many as 2000 personnel including commandos have participated in the operation.

It merits mentioning here that seven policemen including Special Squad’s ASI were abducted on Saturday after thirty suspected robbers stormed a police check post near Machka area of Sadiqabad.

The abducted personnel were deployed on special task whereas they belong to Punjab Police’s Special Squad.
