Summary Mirza had force-shut shops after smashing DSP's phone and table glass
BADIN (Dunya News) – Former Interior Minister Sindh Zulfiqar Mirza has been booked under charges of terrorism, harming public property and harassing Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) for storming police station in Badin and manhandling officials.
According to details, Mirza stormed Model Town police station in Badin with dozens of armed guards after the police had arrested his friend Nadeem Mirza upon suspicion of burglary.
He kept threatening DSP Abdul Qadir Samoon and then broke table’s glass and DSP’s cell phone.
Mirza then went out and force-shut the shops and businesses nearby with the help of dozens of armed men accompanying him.
According to DSP, the firing during force-shutting shops resulted in injury of one person. The shopkeepers reached the police station upon which, Mirza was booked for harming public property, harassing DSP and terrorism.
