ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Imam-e-Kaaba Shaikh Khalid Al Ghamidi on Friday has said that Islam is a religion of peace which teaches us unity and agreeableness.
He expressed these views while delivering the Friday prayers address in Faisal Mosque.
He said that Muslims are facing different political and religious clashes when all have a common holy book, the Quran. The Imam-e-Kaaba said that the reason behind the grim state of the Muslims is deviation from the teachings of Islam. Muslims have been divided into sects and different groups, he added.
He said that the non-Muslim powers are benefitting out of the differences of opinions among Muslims. The Imam-Kaaba said that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) taught us to tightly grip the teachings of Islam. The Prophet had stressed the fact that Islam has ended racial differences, he added.
He urged the people to follow the path of Holy Prophet (PBUH) and that which the Holy Quran teaches.
