LAHORE (Dunya News) – A judicial magistrate on Thursday ordered judicial remand of husband and wife who were allegedly involved in torture of a 8 year old, reported Dunya News.
The culprits Amin and his spouse Samina were presented in front of a magistrate of District Court.
The investigation officer said on the occasion that the investigation has been completed.
He told the court that the child named Ramiza had been subjected to torture by the couple while the pipes used to harm her had also been found.
Presenting their defence, the culprits said that the case registered against them was baseless.
Culprits lawyer took the stance that parents love their children and at times beat them as well therefore the act does not constitute as a crime and the court should accept the bail plea of the defendants.
