Summary Urban areas are facing eight hours and rural areas 10 hours of loadshedding.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Power outage continues in the country with electricity shortfall reaching to 4300 megawatt, Dunya News reported on Thursday.

According to National Transmission & Despatch Company s (NTDC) sources, urban areas are facing eight hours and rural areas 10 hours of loadshedding whereas the overall demand of electricity is 14,900 megawatt and the production is 10,600 megawatt.

With the change in weather, a slight decline has occurred in the demand of electricity however; due to strong winds and rain, complaints regarding power tripping have increased with unannounced loadshedding in various areas of the country.
