LAHORE (Dunya News) – Unidentified assailants tortured actress Rohi Bano on Monday. The actress has given application in police station to file a case, reported Dunya News.
Resident of Gulberg area of Lahore, former actress Rohi Bano who gained fame due to her acting prowess, was attacked upon by unidentified persons, severely injuring her.
According to reports, the actress was found injured in her house. The attack was apparently from a sharp tool. The assailants however managed to escape.
Roohi Bano has been transferred to Services Hospital where she is being given medical aid.
It should be noted here that Roohi Bano who rose to fame many decades ago for her outstanding performances in the roles she played, has been living a life of isolation for many years.
People hailing from showbiz background have tried to fund her mental treatment but the treatment has not revealed tangible results.
