LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday gave recommendation to form a larger bench after 24 years in response to an application filed for the disqualification of Prime Minister (PM), reported Dunya News.
A two-member bench has forwarded a file to Chief Justice LHC to form a larger bench.
Barrister Iqbal Jaffri had filed a petition for disqualification of PM Nawaz Sharif 24 years ago.
The petition states that PM Nawaz Sharif has illegal assets overseas and should be declared ineligible for the post of PM.
