Summary Court after concluding arguments of both the parties reserved the verdict.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Election tribunal on Monday reserved its verdict against that petition filed against rigging in constituency NA-125, Dunya News reported.

Pakistan Tehreek-i-Inssaf’s (PTI’s) Hamid Khan adopted the stance that Pakistan Muslim League’s (PML-N’s) Khawaja Saad Rafique has been elected as MNA through rigging which was done on a large scale whereas results were also changed on the polling stations.

Hamid Khan also stated that rigging has also been proved in the relevant constituency after vote recounting therefore; orders should be issued for re-election.

On the other hand, Khawaja Saad Rafique told the court that all the allegations are baseless as no rigging was carried out in NA-125.

He stated that PTI’s candidate is giving a misleading account of the constituency as no rigging has been proved after vote recount therefore; the petition should be dismissed.

Court after concluding arguments of both the parties reserved the verdict which will be announced on April 30.
