ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Opposition leader Khursheed Shah has said that United Arab Emirate’s (UAE’s) statement on Pakistan was against diplomatic etiquettes, Dunya News reported on Wednesday.
While talking to media he said that Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif should have issued policy instead of explanation on the Yemen resolution of Parliament.
He expressed the resolve that Pakistan Army will fully defend Saudi Arabia if its integrity is threatened however; Pakistan will not become a part of Saudi war.
He said that Pakistan has this agreement with Saudi Arabia and will standby this decision till end as war is not the solution of any conflict.
Khursheed Shah said that if any decision went against Parliament’s resolution then the country has to pay a big price.
He expressed hope that PM Nawaz will not say anything contrary to the Parliament’s decision.
He also stated that the opposition has proposed in-camera session of Parliament to the PM.
