Summary MQM chief earlier recorded his statement at the Central London police station

LONDON (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain’s bail in money laundering case has been extended until July, Dunya News reported.

MQM chief appeared at the Central London police station where he was reportedly questioned for over five hours. The police did not ask any questions aggressively and Altaf Hussain also fully cooperated with the authorities. The police then decided to extend the bail.

Earlier, Altaf Hussain arrived at the police station to record his statement along with MQM leader Babar Ghauri and lawyers’ team.

Talking briefly to the media, MQM chief said that he pays salutations to all the Pakistanis. His private security guards were sent outside after Altaf Hussain entered the station.

In a statement, MQM spokesperson explained that Altaf Hussain went to the police station as per the scheduled appointment.
