Summary He said an independent caretaker government setup is crucial for transparent election
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday termed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s visit to Gilgit-Baltistan ‘pre-poll rigging’, adding that announcement of development package by Prime Minister is a political gimmick.
In his recent post on Twitter, Khan said that he ‘strongly condemns’ Prime Minister’s alleged pre-poll rigging. He said Prime Minister first appointed a federal minister as governor GB, adding that the caretaker government is allegedly Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) loyalist.
He further alleged that the election commissioner is also PML-N loyalist.
