Summary Current supply of electricity is 1780 Megawatts against the demand of 3000 Megawatts
LAHORE (Dunya News) – An increase in load shedding has been observed as temperature begins to rise in the city, reported Dunya News on Monday.
Due to rising temperatures, electricity shortfall in the city has risen to 1200 Megawatts and the current supply of electricity is 1780 Megawatts against the demand of 3000 Megawatts.
According to Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) officials, only scheduled load shedding is take place which is between 6 to 7 hours, adding that if any area is facing increased load shedding then it is due to technical faults.
The officials said that LESCO is striving to restrict load shedding to scheduled time table so that people do not have to face any difficulty.
