Summary Pakistan should play a role of mediator in the Yemen conflict, he said

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Jamaat Islami chief Sirajul Haq on Thursday said that Pakistan should play a role of mediator in Yemen conflict and that a session of Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) must be summoned in Islamabad.

Addressing in ‘contact to people’ campaign, Jamaat chief said Muslims will put their lives on stake if holy sites are threatened, adding that the in-fight among Muslims benefits United States and Israel.

Sirajul Haq said that the federal government is putting obstacles in the way of progress and prosperity by making the Kashgar-Gwadar route controversial. He demanded that the nation be briefed why the route is being changed.

Jamaat chief also demanded to reinstate all blocked national identity cards (NICs) immediately.
