Summary Imran Khan was welcomed with flowers in MQM's traditional hospitable way: Farooq Sattar

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Dr. Farooq Sattar said that Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan was welcomed with flowers in MQM’s traditional hospitable way. He was addressing a press conference in Karachi on Thursday. He said there was only a minor quarrel after Imran Khan’s departure.

Farooq Sattar said that no unpleasant incident occurred during Imran Khan’s visit to Jinnah Ground and MQM leaders themselves went to Imran Khan’s vehicle to welcome him. He said that they are surprised why did Imran Khan not go to Yadgar-e-Shuhada and went back.

“Our preparations to welcome the guests were in progress since yesterday on the orders of MQM chief Altaf Hussain”, said Farooq Sattar
Talking about the details of their preparations, he said that they had prepared for Imran Khan’s lunch and they also had gifts for the guests. He said that they are happy on Imran Khan’s starting his election campaign from Yaadgar-e-Shuhada.

Farooq Sattar said that some leaders of PTI gave statements which show as if they had doubts about MQM and Altaf Hussain’s sincerity. He said that Altaf Hussain’s gesture is very positive so no one should create misunderstandings between the parties.
