LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lahore High Court (LHC) has dismissed the plea filed against the illegal detention of a citizen, Dunya News reported on Thursday.
According to details, the petition was submitted by the detainee’s mother Khalida Parveen who told the court that Gujrat police has arrested his son, Sajjad, unlawfully.
On the orders of court police presented the suspect and stated that Sajjad was arrested on charges of murder whereas FIR has also been registered against and he will be presented in a local court.
The court rejected the petition of Khalida Parveen and gave the custody of the suspect to police upon which the officials dragged him along with them.
Moreover, his mother started wailing on hearing the court order gathering a large number of litigants.
