PPP demands in-camera session to know what kind of help Saudi Arabia has sought

Summary PPP concerned over deteriorating situation in the Middle East

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) on Wednesday demanded to the government to hold an in-camera session to brief them about what kind of help has Saudi Arabia asked for.

Addressing press conference after PPP central executive committee’s meeting, Sherry Rehman said that PPP is concerned over deteriorating condition in Middle East. She said PPP will send delegates to Muslims countries in efforts of establishing peace there.

Sherry Rehman said that sanctity of holy sites is dear to them but the decision to send army to Saudi Arabia will be taken by the parliament.

PPP demanded the government to summon leaders from all political parties and brief them in-camera on the ongoing situation.

PPP’s CEC meeting was headed by former president Asif Ali Zardari. Telling about the resolutions passed in the meeting, Sherry Rehman further said that PPP advocated for its martyred founder Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto’s ‘judicial murder’.
