Summary Ahsan Iqbal said that the target of export till the year 2025 had been set at 150 billion dollars
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister of Planning Ahsan Iqbal said on Wednesday that the country’s economy is improving and said that endeavours are underway to make the next budget people-friendly.
Adressing pre-budget seminar, Ahsan Iqbal said that when his party came into power in 2013, the country’s economy was in shambles however the government’s untiring efforts for the past two years has bore fruit as institutions such as World Bank, among many others, have rated the economy’s outlook as positive.
Talking to the seminar, Federal Minister of Planning said that the measures have been taken to further better the economy including increasing tax revenue and exports.
Ahsan Iqbal said that the target of export till the year 2025 had been set at 150 billion dollars for which solid steps are being taken.
