LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lahore High Court (LHC) has ordered to present eight people before the court on April 8 who are detained in illegal custody of police in lynching case of Youhanabad incident, Dunya News reported on Monday.
According to details, the petitioner claimed during the hearing that police has illegally detained dozens of Christian people therefore they should be released from the police custody.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Investigation Wing stated in his written reply that 11 of the 14 arrested suspects are in their homes whereas there are reports about one suspect, Sohail Johnson, of going abroad.
However, no details have been found regarding two more suspects.
The court dismissed the reply of SSP investigation and ordered to present the suspects before court after their release.
