LAHORE (Dunya News) – Formation of Judicial Commission (JC) to probe election rigging has been challenged in Lahore registry of Supreme Court (SC) today (Monday).
A petition was filed by Barrister Zafar Ullah in SC Lahore registry stating that several inquiry tribunals have been made as per constitution to investigate election rigging however many of them have also reserved verdicts.
He further argued that the need of a new JC is against constitution s ordinance, therefore, the court should annul the establishment of Judicial Commission.
