Summary Police have detained 29 innocent people who don't have any link with the incident since 15 March
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lahore High Court ordered Joint Investigation team on Thursday, to present the details of all 29 Christians detained in Yohannabad mob lynching case to the court.
Christian leader M A Joseph Frances had submitted an application in which he stated that police has detained 29 innocent people since 15th of March while they have no link with the incident. On the other hand Superintendent Police (SP) Joint Investigation Rizwan told the court that police arrested 15 people, 14 of which have been sent to jail on judicial remand while one has been released.
Court declared police s answer as non satisfactory and demanded the investigation team to present a detailed report of all the detainees on next hearing of the application on 4th of April.
