PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Peshawar’s Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) arrested an assailant today (Thursday) involved in the kidnapping and murder of Frontier Corps (FC) officials, Dunya News reported.
According to details, the terrorist identified as Sadat Khan is related to an outlawed organization and was arrested from Matni area.
The terrorist belonged to Bara agency and was involved in FC checkpost attack in 2010 located at Frontier road.
The attack claimed the life of one official whereas four were kidnapped.
The terrorists also took arms with them after the attack.
A case was registered in Matni police station under the terrorism act whereas the arrested terrorist also had a head money of Rs5 lac.
