ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – “if you don t know where you are going, every road takes you there, that is, if u don t have any ideology then you can join any conflict as long your billions stashed abroad are safe”, said Chairman Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on social media website Twitter on Tuesday.
Imran Khan’s tweet was a message for Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on the issue of sending troops for Yemen war.
He said that as long as Asif Zardari and Nawaz Sharif have their money in foreign banks and assets in western countries, they cannot be sincere with Pakistan. Imran Khan asked the workers of PMLN and PPP to demand an answer from their leaders about their foreign assets.
Spokesperson of PTI Shireen Mazari said that Pakistan’s diplomatic staff at Yemen behaved cowardly by coming back to the country leaving many helpless Pakistanis behind in the war torn country. She said that diplomatic staff should have stayed there until the evacuation of each and every Pakistani.
