LAHORE (Dunya News) – The electricity outages both in rural and urban areas continue as the electricity shortfall has increased to at least 4,900 Megawatt (MW).
According to the details, the demand is at least 13,900 MW whereas the supply of power is just 9,000 MW. Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) sources say that the outage durations in rural and urban areas are ten and eight hours respectively.
Moreover, unannounced outages are being conducted in addition to announced durations.
