Summary Weather department forecasts more rain in northern areas in coming days
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – A new series of rain in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Khyber Pakhtunkhaw (KP) and Azad Kashmir has ceased the temperature from rising. Dust storm and hail destroyed the electricity system in Mianwali while three houses collapsed. However, no causality was reported. Weather department has forecasted more rain in northern areas in coming days.
Rain in Muzaffarabad and snowfall in Azad Kashmir’s hilly areas caused land sliding and Lipa valley and Haveli Road were closed for traffic.
There was rain and hailstorm in some areas of KP as well while Karachi and Lahore remained dry and witnessed a very hot day.
Weather will remain dry in many areas of the country during the next 24 hours.
