Summary Safdar's counsel submitted a plea seeking extension in his client's bail
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Sessions court on Tuesday has extended the bail granted to Maryam Safdar, woman who drove over as many as three people to save her life during Youhanabad violent protests.
According to the details, Safdar’s counsel has submitted a plea in the court stating that his client is in a hospital so her bail should be extended. Therefore, the court granted an extension in bail until April 4. The court ordered the police to not arrest Safdar until then.
Earlier, Safdar was driving through Ferozpur Road in her car when she was attacked by the violent protesters. She accelerated the car to get out of their reach and in doing so at least three people were killed.
Later, she was rescued from the protesters by policemen.
