Summary JI head says next election will prove to be the day of judgement for the corrupt people

ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Jamaat Islami (JI) head Sirajul Haq has on Monday said that the country was deep in debts only because of the poor policies made by the rulers. He said that the next election will prove to be the judgement day for all the corrupt, Dunya News reported.

In a press conference, Sirajul Haq said that corruption has spread in the country like a cancer. He said that the people of Pakistan were being looted for the last 68 years. “A looted amount of two billion dollars lies with the Swiss banks. He said that the people of Pakistan will hold the corrupt accountable in the next election”, he added.

JI head said that Pakistan was blessed with natural resources but the country was unable to progress because of the poor leadership. “We should resolve on this Pakistan Day that the betterment of Pakistan will be made our first priority”, he said.

Expressing his pleasure over Pakistan Day Parade in Islamabad, Sirajul Haq said that the speech made by President Mamnoon Hussain was encouraging for the Pakistanis.
