KARACHI (Dunya News) – Jamaat Islami chief Sirajul Haq on Saturday said that his party is not in favour of a military operation against any political party, adding that the recovery of NATO weapons during operation in Karachi is a big question mark.

He said that angry youngsters of Balochistan need to be embraced instead of further pushed to the corner.

Addressing a press conference, Jamaat chief said that key facts have come to surface as result of targeted operation in Karachi. He said that no particular political party should be targeted adding that the operation should only be against extortionists, terrorists and criminals.

Sirajul Haq said that formation of judicial commission by the federal government to probe alleged election rigging is a welcome gesture and that the constituencies of Karachi must also be checked against rigging.

Jamaat chief said Balochistan has become a volcano because of Islamabad’s wrong decisions. He said all political parties have to carry out a joint struggle in order to make amends to the angry youths in Balochistan.
